ITINERARY
DAY 1: KAMPALA TO MURCHSION FOR AN AFTERNOON BOAT
Begin the panoramic drive north-west through the famous Luwero Triangle
On arrival in Murchison falls National Park you will head out for an afternoon boat trip on the Albert Nile. The three hour boat trip along the Nile gives you assured chance to see the falls from the bottom angle. Hippos, crocodiles, antelopes, and aquatic birds can be seen along the shores of the River. You will get off the boat and take a hike to the top of the falls– This historic site can only be reached from the South Bank! From the top of the falls there are fantastic advantage points that the falls can be viewed from and photographed. .
Enjoy the sunset as you return to the lodge.
DAY 2: GAME DRIVE IN MURCHISON FALLS NATIONAL PARK AND TRANSFER TO FORT PORTAL
Begin your day with a cup of African coffee ready for a game drive, bird watching and sightseeing across the open savannah dotted woodland and riverine vegetation along the Nile and Albert delta.
After the game drive you will continue to Fort portal for dinner and overnight
DAY 3: TRANSFER TO QUEEN ELIZABETH NATIONAL PARK FOR AN AFTERNOON BOAT TRIP ON THE KAZINGA CHANNEL
Aftr breakfast this morning you will continue with your trip to western Uganda through Kasaese.On arrival you will check into the lodge and have an early lunch. After lunch, a two hour boat trip along the famous Kazinga channel is a worthwhile opportunity to see Hippos, Buffalo, Kobs, Elephants, warthogs etc. This trip also gives visitors a chance to see spectacular birds.This evening you will have an opportunity for an evening game drive along the Kasenyi and queen miles.
With great memories of the day’s activities you will proceed to your Iodge for relaxation and dinner.
DAY 4: TRANSFER TO BWINDI IMPENETRABLE NATIONAL PARK
Begin your day with a cup of coffee. After breakfast continue with your journey to Bwindi Impenetrable national park the home to Uganda’s Mountain Gorillas which will be you new home for the next two nights.
DAY 5: GORILLA TRACKING IN BWINDI IMPENETRABLE NATIONAL PARK
This morning you will be up relatively early for a hearty breakfast to give you the energy needed for gorilla tracking.With your packed lunch report to the ranger station before 8:00 am for registration and a talk by one of the rangers. The guides will then take you through the bush, pushing your way through the undergrowth, parting thick creepers, to track the gorillas. (This trek can take from half an hour to 5 hours – a reasonable degree of fitness is required as well as a sturdy pair of walking shoes). Sit in the forest among the gorillas, listening to them grumble to each other, and marvel at the sheer size of the dominant male; the silverback. It is an extraordinary feeling sitting in the dense rainforest knowing you are with a few of the last remaining mountain gorillas. It’s amazing to think there are only about 800 of these beautiful creatures left

DAY 6: 21ST DECEMBER 2017 RETURN TO KAMPALA
With memories of a great African safari you will rise up have a hearty breakfast and return to Kampala
