4 DAYS ITINERARY
Day 1: Kampala- Queen Elizabeth National Park (stop over at the equator crossing and Igongo cultural center)
Our guide will pick you up, and drive you to Mbarara westwards via Masaka. Make the first stop over at Equator crossing for snacks and photography. Lunch break is made at Igongo Cultural center. After lunch, drive to Queen Elizabeth National park. On your way you will enjoy beautiful sceneries of the ranges of Mountain Rwenzori, herds of long horned Ankole cattle, and tea plantations in Ishaka, Rift valley escarpment, open grassland and woodland savanna. An evening game drive for sightseeing is much more rewarding.
Day 2: Queen Elizabeth National Park (Game drive and Launch cruise on Kazinga channel)
Begin your day with a cup of coffee and later head out for an early morning game drive along Kasenyi and Queens Mile expect to see elephants, buffaloes, water bucks, warthogs, lions, Uganda Kobs lakes and a variety of birds. Return to the lodge for breakfast.
and lunch. After lunch, a two hour boat trip along the famous Kazinga channel is a worthwhile opportunity to see Hippos, Buffalo, Kobs, Elephants, warthogs etc. This trip also gives visitors a chance to see spectacular birds
Day 3: Katwe salt lake tour then transfer to Kibaale forest National park via Fort portal with a visit to the crater lakes region.
With the previous day’s memories, enjoy your breakfast and later headout for a guided tour along the Katwe salty lake.This Katwe salt kake tour will give you an insight into the fascinating yet tough process of salt minning.Continue to Fort portal
After lunch in fort portal You will visit the crater lakes region and enjoy the best scenic million dollar view of the foot hills of mountain Rwenzori region. You will continue your journey to Kibaale Forest National park for Dinner and Over Night.
Day 4: Chimpanzee Trekking in Kibale Forest National Park then return to Kampala
After an early breakfast you will set off for a half day search of chimpanzee and 10 other primate including phoestes, red Colobus, blues, and red tailed and grey cheeked mangabey. The guide will provide detailed explanations, not only on primates, but also on all the forest fauna and flora and will ensure that your walk is both informative and enjoyable. This walk is excellent for viewing bird life and seeing primates at close quarters. After lunch, you will return to Kampala.
