2 DAYS QUEEN ELIZABETH WILDLIFE SAFARI

Queen Elizabeth National Park is  Uganda’s most popular tourist destination with diverse ecosystems, which include sprawling savannah, shady, humid forests, sparkling lakes and fertile wetlands that make it the ideal habitat for classic big gameten primate species including chimpanzees and over 600 species of birds.

Set against the backdrop of the jagged Rwenzori Mountains, the park’s magnificent attractions include craters lakes carved dramatically into rolling green hills, panoramic views of the Kazinga Channel and the endless Ishasha plains, whose fig trees hide lions ready to pounce on herds of unsuspecting Uganda kobs.

DETAILED ITINERARY

DAY 1: TRANSFER TO QUEEN ELIZABETH NATIONAL PARK

Enjoy a scenic drive to Queen Elizabeth National park fronted by the green vegetation in country side of tea plantations and  ranges of mountain Rwenzori when going through Fort portal and Kasese,. You will make a stopover at the Equator for a photo shoot in Kasese.

On arrival in Queen Elizabeth national park you will go for an afternoon boat cruise along the Kazinga channel which your first major activity for this Uganda safari. Here you will have the opportunity to view great numbers of wildlife e.g. elephants monitor lizards, crocodiles, hippos, buffaloes and large numbers of birds e.g. eagles, kingfishers sparrow, the doves, weaver birds, eaglet and sun birds converging at the channel waters to enjoy a sip of the natural waters. You will also have a chance to reach the Uganda Congo border while on your cruise. You will then be driven back to your lodge for rest.

Dinner and overnight

DAY 2: GAME DRIVE IN QUEEN ELIZABETH NATIONAL PARK AND RETURN TO KAMPALA

After an early breakfast, at 6.00am you will embark on a game drive to the northern sector of the queen Elizabeth national park through the Kasenyi track in search for buffaloes, lions, hyenas, After the game drive you will return to your lodge and then begin your journey  to Kampala with a stopover in Fort portal for Lunch.
