2 DAYS SAFARI TO LAKE MBURO NATIONAL PARK
Lake Mburo National Park is the smallest of Uganda’s savanah national parks underlain by ancient Precambrian metamorphic rocks which date back more than 500 million years.
It is also home to some bird species like Crested Francolin, Red-necked, Spurfowl, Arrow marked Babler, Emerald spotted wood Dove, Brown Parrot, Barefaced Go-away and also animals like zebra, impala, eland, buffalo, oribi, Defassa waterbuck, Giraffes, hippo, hyena, topi and reedbuck.

DAY 1: AFTERNOON BOAT TRIP ON LAKE MBURO
After an early breakfast our Uganda safari this morning will take you through the countryside to our first stop point which is the Equator monument. You will have an opportunity to take photos and also watch a small water experiment and shop for crafts from the various stalls some of which support vulnerable women and children.
You will arrive in the park in time for lunch. After Lunch prepared to leave for a boat trip on the stunning Lake Mburo located inside the park. The boat safari can take about an hour or more as you look out for the Crocodiles busking in the sun, schools of hippos, numerous birdlife like pelicans, malachite and pied kingfishers fishing, herons, cormorants, and the flamboyant fish eagle.
DAY 2: MORNING GAME DRIVE AND RETURN TO KAMPALA – WILDLIFE SAFARI
Today morning after an early breakfast, we leave for a morning game drive in search of Impala, Buffaloes, Topi, and the largest herds of Zebras in Uganda, recently Giraffes added to the mammal list in Lake Mburo having become extinct in the years past. Enjoy the varying scenery in the national park.
We shall exit the park and have lunch at the Equator monument on the way back to Kampala or Entebbe International Airport.
